North East outfit Leopard Rays have only 2 singles under their belt so far, but this is most definitely a case of quality over quantity, members of the new generation of British rock that has begun to emerge in the last couple of years, Leopard Rays are contemporaries of other classically minded Brits such as Hercules Morse. Their latest offering, 'Easy Tiger', is a shining example of what the UK still has to offer the world rock and roll, these local lads are determined to show that we can once again be the hub of all things rock. With its rolling drum beat, 'Easy Tiger' draws you in with its contrasts, namely the contrast of the pounding drums with the elegantly struck chords of the guitar track. This use of contrasts creates a real give and take throughout the track's runtime and allows each element to shine in its own right, achieving balance.
